ONLINE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
We will happily accept unworn, undamaged or defective full price product for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt date from alexisbittar.com. Sale items are a final sale and therefore are not eligible for exchange or return. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Product returned between 15 and 30 days of receipt date will receive credit as a digital gift card. Once your return is processed, a credit will be issued for the merchandise amount only. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please allow 12 - 14 business days for the refund to post to your account. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.
Items purchased through alexisbittar.com may be exchanged in Alexis Bittar Boutiques within 14 days of receipt date. Product must be unworn, undamaged and accompanied by a print out of the original confirmation email. Online purchases will not be refunded by Alexis Bittar Boutiques. For refunds on returned items purchased online, see the procedure below to return the items to alexisbittar.com.
Items purchased in Alexis Bittar Boutiques or any other retailers may not be exchanged or returned through alexisbittar.com.
To return or exchange an item purchased online, please follow these simple steps:
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on “My Orders”
3. Click on the "Create Return" link for the order you would like to return
4. Follow the instructions to obtain a Return Authorization number
Please include a copy of your Return Authorization inside the package and make sure the RA# is written clearly on the outside of the package. A Return Authorization must be obtained BEFORE returning any items. For your security, please return your purchase with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. Alexis Bittar, Inc. is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
STORE RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Full price items purchased at any Alexis Bittar Retail Boutique in original condition and accompanied by a receipt may be returned or exchanged in store within 14 days of receipt date. Sale items are a final sale and therefore are not eligible for exchange or return. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment. Any cash returns exceeding the boutique’s currency will be issued as a mailed check. Product returned between 15 and 30 days of receipt date will receive store credit. Please allow 7 - 10 business days for checks to be mailed. Requests to exchange merchandise received as a gift must be accompanied by a gift receipt.
All items purchased at any Alexis Bittar Outlet Boutique are final sale. Refunds or exchanges are not permitted.
Items purchased through other retailers are not eligible for exchange or store credit in Alexis Bittar Boutiques or on alexisbittar.com. Please work directly with the retailer where the original purchase was made.
We gladly honor one-time price adjustments on full price merchandise within 7 days of the retail purchase or ship date if accompanied by the original receipt. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments. Prices are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to cancel orders containing erroneous prices including those due to technical or administrative errors on our part.
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Checks and money orders are not accepted. For security purposes, please do not send cash or include your credit card number in any email communication.
Alexis Bittar online gift certificates may be used on purchases made through alexisbittar.com. Unfortunately, at this time, online gift certificates are not good in Alexis Bittar Boutiques, nor are store gift certificates good on alexisbittar.com. Both online and Alexis Bittar Boutique gift certificates expire a year from the original issue date.
PERSONAL MESSAGES AND GIFT RECEIPT
If you would like us to include a personal message with your shipments, simply write your message in the “Notes” section during the checkout process. We will transcribe it to an Alexis Bittar note card and include it with your order. We will not include messages with profanity, threatening language or other messages that we deem inappropriate.
When you chose the gift wrap option for an item, we will automatically include a gift receipt (prices removed, of course). If you need a gift receipt for an item that you are not having gift wrapped, let us know in the “Notes” section of the checkout process, and we will be sure to include one.
Applicable sales tax will be charged on the merchandise total for orders shipped to AL, AR, AZ, CA, CT, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, OH, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, TN, TX, VA and WA.
CHARGING YOUR CREDIT CARD
We do not charge your credit card until we ship your order to you. We authorize your credit card for the amount of the order to verify that the funds are available until the order is shipped. Orders are subject to verification and acceptance before shipping. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
If your order is sent in multiple shipments, whether to the same or to different addresses, your credit card will be charged separately for each shipment.
We offer free UPS ground shipping on all orders to the continental United States.
We offer shipping via UPS on all domestic orders. Please note that UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. The following charges apply to packages shipped in the continental United States. We ship UPS Worldwide Express for all orders outside of the United States. Actuals costs for international shipping are calculated after you have added items to your cart and filled in the shipping address information on the website.

All orders shipped outside of the United States are subject to additional shipping charges based on the end country's taxes, tariffs and duties. These fees are not associated with Alexis Bittar, Inc and are to be paid by the recipient upon delivery.
PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES
Orders are processed, shipped and delivered Monday through Friday only. Orders are not processed, shipped or delivered on national holidays. All orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on a national holiday, will be processed the following business day. Order processing time includes item selection, handling, packaging and shipping. While most orders are ready to ship within 24 hours of placing the order, some orders take additional time. Please allow 48 hours for processing. All orders placed after 1pm ET will begin processing the following business day. We reserve the right to hold orders for verification. All orders billed and/or shipped outside of the continental United States, Hawaii or Alaska must have the same billing and shipping address.
Our Fashion Collections consist of plated metal, which may darken or tarnish with normal wear. Unfortunately, we are not able to repair discolored or tarnished items at this time. Gently wipe the metal surface with a soft cloth to clean, however, excessive polishing may rub off or scratch the plating. Avoid direct contact with lotions, perfumes or oils. Excessive light, heat or moisture will deteriorate the quality of Lucite, plating, and stones. Each piece is unique, so stones and pearls may vary in shape, size and color. Stone inclusions may be visible to the eye and are considered a part of their beauty.
Fashion: We will make every effort to repair or replace Fashion items purchased in the past 6 months. Repairs will not be accepted on items purchased from an unauthorized retailer, sample sale or when the damage was caused by neglect, accident, alteration, or other factors. If you made your purchase through another authorized retailer, please first work directly with the retailer to initiate the repair process. Items purchased outside of the 6 month timeframe will be assessed for repair at the cost of the customer. We will not repair items purchased outside of 1 year. We will inform you of any repair fees for your approval prior to you sending the product in for repair.
All repairs must be visually evaluated before an assessment and price quote can be provided. Before returning any product to Alexis Bittar for repair, please provide your order information, a short description of the repair issue along with photographs of the item to our Customer Service team at firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line "Repair Process". Multiple pictures and angles will expedite the assessment. We will provide further instruction within 7 - 10 business days. If a repair can be made, the process will take approximately 10 - 12 weeks from the date we receive it.
Any products returned prior to assessment and approval of repair will be sent back at the expense of the customer.
Fine: We cannot make alterations or repair Alexis Bittar Fine Collection products.
Antiques: Because of their nature, antique and vintage pieces are always sold as is. We cannot make alterations or repair the natural flaws that may exist. The condition of an antique is considered in the pricing.
We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. Any information we collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to facilitate us in fulfillment operations. From time to time, we may send sale information, product updates, etc. via US mail and/or electronically via email. If you would prefer not to receive these promotional items, you may opt out by clicking unsubscribe on the bottom of our emails or by contacting us at email@example.com with "REMOVE" as the subject header.
Alexis Bittar Inc. uses non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address and the pages that you visit on our site, to help diagnose problems with our site and servers, to administer our site, and to improve site-related services and features. Your IP address and other non-personally identifiable information also may be used to gather broad demographic information and to recognize customer traffic patterns and site usage trends. This information aids us in improving the site navigation, design and features.
We also use "cookies" to collect product and purchase information from the pages you access or visit. This information may be combined with other identifiable personal information. Cookies are bits of information that are automatically stored on your computer. Cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information such as your name, address or any financial information.
